This Shipping Policy outlines the delivery terms and conditions applicable to orders placed on maisonbrassel.com. It forms an integral part of our General Terms and Conditions of Sale.

1. Delivery Areas

Maison Brassel ships its products (premium watch straps and accessories) to the following areas:

  • Metropolitan France and French Overseas Territories
  • International (European Union and rest of the world)
  • United States

Certain destinations may be temporarily excluded due to logistical or regulatory restrictions. If applicable, the customer will be notified before order confirmation.

2. Order Processing Time

Every order that has been validated and confirmed by an effective payment is prepared within 1 to 2 business days from the date of payment confirmation.

Orders placed on weekends, public holidays, or after 2:00 PM (Paris time) are processed on the next business day.

Processing time is in addition to the delivery time specified below.

3. Shipping Methods and Delivery Times

Maison Brassel offers two shipping methods:

3.1 Standard Shipping (complimentary)

  • Cost: free, with no minimum purchase required.
  • Estimated delivery: 3 to 5 business days after shipment (excluding processing time).
  • Availability: France, International, United States.

3.2 Express Shipping

  • Cost: EUR 9.99 (tax included).
  • Estimated delivery: 2 to 3 business days after shipment (excluding processing time).
  • Availability: France, International, United States.

Important: delivery times are provided as estimates and begin from the date of shipment. They may vary depending on the destination, the carrier, and circumstances beyond the control of Creato (weather conditions, strikes, peak commercial periods, customs inspections, force majeure events).

The shipping method and associated costs are clearly displayed to the customer before final order confirmation, in accordance with Article L221-5 of the French Consumer Code.

4. Shipping Costs

Applicable shipping costs are as follows:

  • Standard Shipping: complimentary (EUR 0.00).
  • Express Shipping: EUR 9.99 (tax included).

Product prices displayed on the website are listed in euros (EUR), inclusive of all applicable taxes, and do not include shipping costs. The total order amount, including shipping, is summarized before final payment confirmation.

5. Order Tracking

When the order is shipped, the customer receives a shipment confirmation email containing:

  • The package tracking number.
  • The name of the carrier.
  • A link to track the package in real time.

The customer may also check the status of their order through their account on maisonbrassel.com or by contacting customer service at contact@maisonbrassel.com.

6. Customs Duties and Taxes (International and U.S. Deliveries)

6.1 Deliveries Within the European Union

Displayed prices include all applicable taxes. No additional customs duties apply to deliveries within European Union member states.

6.2 Deliveries Outside the European Union (Including the United States)

For any delivery to a country outside the European Union (including the United States), the package may be subject to customs duties, import taxes, and customs clearance fees imposed by the customs authorities of the destination country.

These fees are the sole responsibility of the customer. Their amount, which Creato is unable to determine in advance, depends on the customs regulations in effect in the destination country and on the nature and value of the products ordered.

Customers are encouraged to check with the customs authorities in their country before placing an order. Under no circumstances shall Creato be held liable for the amount of such duties and taxes, or for any failure by the customer to pay them.

If the customer refuses the package due to customs duties, return shipping costs and any customs fees already paid will remain the customer's responsibility.

6.3 Deliveries to French Overseas Territories

Deliveries to French overseas departments and territories may also be subject to octroi de mer (sea grant tax) and local taxes. Any such fees are the customer's responsibility.

7. Transfer of Risk

In accordance with Article L216-4 of the French Consumer Code, the transfer of risk occurs when the consumer, or a third party designated by the consumer (other than the carrier), takes physical possession of the goods. However, the transfer of risk takes effect upon delivery of the goods to the carrier if the carrier was chosen by the consumer and was not offered by the seller.

8. Delivery Delays

If the estimated delivery time is exceeded, the customer is invited to contact Maison Brassel's customer service at contact@maisonbrassel.com or by phone at +33 7 80 93 63 60 so that an inquiry can be opened with the carrier.

In accordance with Article L216-2 of the French Consumer Code, if delivery has not occurred by the agreed date or, failing that, within 30 days of the conclusion of the contract, the customer may, after giving the seller formal notice to deliver within a reasonable additional period, terminate the contract by registered letter with acknowledgment of receipt or by written notice on another durable medium, if the seller has not performed within that period.

The contract is deemed terminated upon receipt by the seller of the termination notice, unless delivery has occurred in the meantime. The customer is then refunded the full amount paid, no later than 14 days following the date of contract termination, in accordance with Article L216-3 of the French Consumer Code.

9. Lost or Damaged Packages

9.1 Package Damaged Upon Receipt

The customer is encouraged to inspect the condition of the package at the time of delivery. If the package is visibly damaged, the customer must:

  • Note specific and detailed written reservations on the carrier's delivery receipt (or refuse the package).
  • Confirm these reservations by registered letter with acknowledgment of receipt to the carrier within 3 days of receipt, in accordance with Article L133-3 of the French Commercial Code.
  • Contact Maison Brassel's customer service as soon as possible at contact@maisonbrassel.com, including photographs of the damaged package and product as well as a copy of the delivery receipt.

Independently of these formalities with the carrier, in accordance with Article L216-4 of the French Consumer Code, the seller is fully liable to the consumer for the proper performance of the contract, including the delivery of the product. The customer may request a replacement shipment or a refund.

9.2 Lost Package

If the package is declared lost by the carrier or has not been delivered within 15 business days after shipment (30 business days for international deliveries and deliveries to the United States), the customer is invited to contact customer service.

After verification with the carrier and confirmation of the loss, Creato will, at the customer's choice, either reship the ordered product or issue a full refund of the order (product and shipping costs) within 14 days.

9.3 Package Marked as "Delivered" but Not Received

If tracking information shows the package as delivered but the customer has not received it, the customer must contact customer service within 5 business days. An investigation will be opened with the carrier. In the absence of proof of actual delivery to the customer (signature, photograph), Creato will reship the product or issue a refund.

10. Incorrect Delivery Address

The customer is solely responsible for the accuracy of the delivery information provided at the time of ordering (address, zip code, city, country, entry code, floor, name on intercom).

If an address error attributable to the customer results in the package being returned to the sender, reshipping costs will be borne by the customer. The customer is invited to contact customer service as soon as possible to arrange reshipping.

If the package cannot be forwarded and is returned to Creato, the customer may request a new shipment (subject to payment of reshipping costs) or a product refund, minus any return shipping costs incurred.

Creato encourages the customer to carefully verify their delivery address before confirming their order. If an error is noticed after confirmation, the customer should immediately contact customer service at contact@maisonbrassel.com to attempt a correction before shipment.

11. General Provisions

This Shipping Policy is governed by French law.

In the event of a dispute relating to delivery, the customer is encouraged to seek an amicable resolution by contacting customer service. If no amicable resolution can be reached, the dispute will be referred to the competent courts in accordance with French law.

The customer may also contact the consumer protection service (DGCCRF) in their department. Contact information is available at www.economie.gouv.fr/dgccrf.
